Professional triathlete. Coach & co-founder of Team P³. Norseman course record holder, 2025.

Germany
BUILT FOR
THE HARDEST
RACES ON EARTH
Julia Skala turned professional in 2022 and has spent every year since pushing further into the sport's most demanding corners. Where other athletes pick safe courses and controlled environments, Julia finds her best self in the cold, the mountains, and the unknown.
In 2025 she stood on Gaustatoppen as the fastest woman ever to complete the course — breaking the previous record by 16 minutes and finishing 6th overall. She went on to race Kona weeks later. Before dawn swims in fjords at 10°C. After that, anything else is just triathlon.
Off the course, Julia co-runs Team P³ (Project Physical Power) alongside her husband and former pro Michael Skala. Their coaching philosophy centres on the idea that triathlon is most powerful when it builds people, not just finish times. She also competed as part of the German national team at long-distance events throughout 2024.
